Guardian is a new set that might be nice for some. Most builds tend to wear 2 pieces of either Aughild or Captain Crimson along with their class set. If you check maxroll.gg guides, most followers will wear Cain and/or Sage sets with a ring of royal grandeur so that you can benefit from the set bonuses that emanate.
Also you will need the bounty materials for crafting either Aughild, Cain, Sage, Captain Crimson, and/or Guardian sets. Sometimes it’s worth doing some bounties if you are struggling to get a good ancient weapon(s) for your build. You will mainly focus on farming GR90 and higher for exp and loot. Once you get a good build going with your follower, it’s much faster to farm keys solo than in groups. You will basically only do enough T16 rifts to get keys for greater rifts. And your GR pushing build will be slightly different from your speed farm build. A good bounty build will be different from both. A good build for T16 rifts is going to be different than a good build for GR solo speed farming. What I find fun is creating the best builds for the different content. And it doesn’t take that long to get a decent build. The real grind in D3 is paragon levels once you have decent items.
And you will still be farming loot as you do it. GR group exping is the best way to gain experience.
