Finally, the elephant in the room: progress loss.
Reports of this are much further and fewer between since our update, but we are looking it to ensure we can cut it away completely. Everything from character unlock achievements not firing to distance traveled achievements not properly calculating is being inspected.
Secondarily, for those reporting continued achievement spottiness, we are looking into this. Is it the case that your progress on goals within one run is not even carrying over to the next run, within the same game session? That isn't a report we've ever heard before, even among progress loss issues. If you are unable to continue a run, you are still very much able to start a new run over again, allowing you to continue working at each goal in question. To be clear, however, I don't fully understand your assertion that no continues = no progress. They have a "fill rate" which dictates when ads are and are not served up across the games they partner with, and while that fill rate should reset roughly ever 24 hours, it can take somewhat longer. Since I don't have any continues my progress has stalled for now.In this case, we regrettably are at the mercy of our ad partner, Vungle.
